QuickTool For QuickBooks Online

What is QuickTool?

QuickTool is a plugin you can use in QuickBooks Online.

It comes with a couple of feature that automates your daily tasks in QuickBooks Online.

1. Shortcuts for pages: Search and go to pages you often visit
2. Automations: Automates bookkeeping tasks. Categorizing bank transaction is one of them.

How to Use QuickTool

1. Access Chrome Extension Page Here
2. Add to Chrome

3. Visit QuickBooks Online → You’ll see something like this

QuickTool is not supported in QuickBooks Online Accountant version now.

4. Go to bank transactions page
5. Click Auto-categorize bank transactions
How it works

1. Asks about your business
2. Goes through your past transactions to learn how bank transactions were categorized
3. Scans through pending transactions
4. Thinks for a while and ask about transactions needing clarifications
5. Automatically categorized pending bank transactions.
